We are excited to host the 2nd Annual DEEPS Dive Student Research Symposium, a student-run conference organized by graduate students in Brown University’s Department of Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences (DEEPS). Last year’s inaugural DEEPS Dive brought together students, postdocs, and faculty for a full day of talks, posters, and conversation, and we are looking forward to continuing that momentum this year. Building on the department’s tradition of student-led symposia, DEEPS Dive provides a forum for students to share their latest research with the broader DEEPS community and local partners. The program features oral and poster presentations from undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral researchers across the department.
We invite members of the Brown community and the local area to join us for DEEPS Dive. This full-day event offers opportunities to connect with researchers, learn about ongoing work across DEEPS, and engage in conversation throughout the day. The program will include invited speakers, a catered lunch, refreshments, and will conclude with an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding presentations.
