NASA Rhode Island Space Grant Consortium Applications open for Graduate and Undergraduate Students

The NASA Rhode Island Space Grant Consortium has opened applications for 2023 scholarships.

The NASA Rhode Island Space Grant Consortium has opened applications for 2023 Graduate and Undergraduate scholarships.

Academic Year Scholars work the majority of their time on their studies and research in conjunction with their degree program. They are also a part of a larger group of undergraduates, graduate students, and Research Associates who participate in outreach programs for K-12 teachers and their students, as well as for the general public. Summer awardees spend all of their time on their independent research project with their science adviser. They will also be invited to join us at the RI Space Grant Spring Symposium usually held in April. Applications are due February 10, 2023.

Graduate Fellows Application   Undergraduate Student Application

The RI Space Grant aims to encourage undergraduate and graduate university students (especially women and minorities) to explore NASA-related science research and engineering as careers, to use space-related science as a vehicle for enhancing scientific literacy among educators and their students in Rhode Island, and to provide seed grants for NASA-relevant research. Since 1991, more than 100 graduate fellowships and 180 undergraduate scholarships have been distributed to students at RISG Affiliate Institutions.
