How do planetary systems form and evolve? My research addresses this question by combining numerical simulations, analysis of spacecraft and telescope data, and artificial intelligence techniques. Ultimately, I aim to understand the origin of the diverse geophysical properties (e.g., masses, densities, interior structures) of planetary bodies observed in the solar system and among exoplanets. My current research interests include the formation and dynamical evolution of the asteroid belt and the origin of high-density planetary bodies such as Mercury and asteroid (16) Psyche.
