This award recognizes Shaw's excellent academic and research record, as well as the high quality and potential of his upcoming senior thesis.

Each year, the Sarah LaMendola Undergraduate Research Award is given to a Junior in one of the DEEPS concentrations. It was established in honor of Sarah LaMendola '04 through the generosity of her family and friends. The award supports students who demonstrate outstanding potential for undergraduate research.
